Reporting directly to our CFO, you will be responsible for the Global Finance Team based in Melbourne. You will lead all aspects of the Financial control function, including external financial reporting, technical accounting, finance operations, treasury, and oversight of the risk and control environment of the company.
You will support the business by developing and supplying accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis for the Leadership Team and the Board to support the growth of the business across Australia, North America, UK, and South East Asia. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong balance sheet to deliver a business plan through strong accounts receivable and procurement processes, combined with managing f/x and banking relationships.
You will have the opportunity to lead, coach, and mentor a team of 7 to continually improve financial processes and reporting to drive scale and efficiencies through-out the business.
A bit about you
As an experienced professional you have been operating as a Financial Controller and have extensive experience in all aspects of financial reporting.
You have had the experience and exposure to managing auditors, tax advisors, M&As, system implementations, and working in agile environments.
You are comfortable under-pressure and appreciate deadlines and the importance of due diligence.
Bachelor’s degree and CA/CPA qualified, preferably having started your career in chartered business services or audit environment.
Experienced in engaging and collaborating with stakeholders across different business units within an organisation.
You have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Local experience (Australia) preferred.
