Reporting directly to our CFO, you will be responsible for developing the capabilities of the Global Financial Planning and Analysis team based in Melbourne.
This is a highly visible role which will require you to work closely with the Leadership Team and provide value-add business partnering. You will provide financial and operational analytics and insights on the performance of the company, financial modelling to support decision making, corporate budgeting & forecasting and long-term strategic planning.
You will deliver a robust 3-way budget and forecasts – on time, accurate, detailed and board approved, and monitor & drive business performance via active involvement in commercial decision-making and through provision of analytical support. You will become a trusted advisor amongst your stakeholders across Australia, North America, UK, and South East Asia.
You will have the opportunity to provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to a team of 2 Business Analysts based in Melbourne.
A bit about you
You are a seasoned professional with experience in highly commercial roles, preferably with multinational companies
Experience in a SaaS company preferred (to better understand the business drivers, lagging/leading indicators, pricing structures and relevant business metrics)
Experienced in leading forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning processes at a total business or group level
Strong system skills with hands-on experience with BI & Analytics tools ( Tableau, Looker, TM1) and knowledge of Netsuite (or other tier 1 ERP tools) are advantageous
Bachelor’s degree and CA/CPA qualified
Proven financial modelling and analytical skills, with particular strength in MS applications (MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint) are critical
